365 Ways to change the World

And at last a book not only focusing on climate change in a one point view. This 'easy reading' book is one of the books i got for myself as a present and it heeds up to all my expectations. There are many books out there on the topic of climate change, but many I find very alarming and 'we are heading to the apocalypse' or either very aggressively denying about the climate change, sounding very much like my government. This book, instead, tends to point out easy and approachable ways to make a difference which i find useful after reading all the problems and not knowing how would this small being ever change the world?
And that's what this book is all about, small people like us challenging big things in a great deal. The book has different agendas and topics, covering all sorts of issues from human rights to the environment. It portrays how this whole world is connected through different people and different issues we deal with everyday. It makes us aware of our actions that actually affects others and because of that we can make that affect a one that helps.
In all the 365 days, there are many i find fun and interesting. Many are fun and humorous while a lot of them are intense, but all is new knowledge. There's more info here Have fun reading!

และแล้วในที่สุดก็มีหนังสือที่ไม่เน้นแต่ประเด็นภาวะโลกร้อนในแง่มุมเดียว หนังสือที่อ่านสบายๆเล่มนี้เป็นของขวัญทีซื้อให้กับตัวเอง แม้จะแพงหน่อยแต่มันก็ทำให้ไม่ผิดหวังเลย เพราะหนังสือเกี่ยวกับประเด็นนี้ก็มีดาษดื่น แต่หลายเล่มที่เคยอ่านมา ส่วนตัวแล้วรู้สึกว่ามันจะพยายามทำให้เราต้องวิตกกังวลเอามากๆ คล้ายกับว่าโลกไม่รอดแน่ หรือไม่เช่นนั้น ก็จะเป็นหนังสือที่คล้ายว่าจะเป็นหัวข้อภาวะโลกร้อน แต่เนื้อหากลับเป็นการอธิบายถึงความเพ้อเจ้อของประเด็นภาวะโลกร้อนซะงั้น ลีลาการปฎิเสธนั้นคล้ายกับของรัฐบาลมาก..55
หนังสือเล่มนี้จะพยายามแนะทางออกหรือวิธีการง่ายที่ทำจริงได้ ซึ่งส่วนตัวรู้สึกดีมาก เพราะคนเล็กๆอย่างเราจะไปท้าทายอภิมหากาพย์อะไรได้ในประเด็นภาวะโลกร้อนล่ะ
และนั่นแหละคือเนื้อหาของหนังสือเล่มนี้ที่จะมาตอบโจทย์กัน เป็นเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับคนเล็กๆอย่างเราที่ยืนหยัดกับสิ่งใหญ่ๆในโลกนี้
หนังสือมีแบ่งเป็นหลายประเด็น ตั้งแต่ประเด็นเรื่องสิทธิมนุษยชนจนถึงประเด็นเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม มันฉายภาพให้เราเห็นถึงความเชื่อมโยงกันในโลกใบนี้ โดยเชื่อมผ่านผู้คนที่ต่างกันและภาวะการณ์ที่ต่างกัน ที่เราแต่ละคนก็เผชิญพบเจออยู่ทุกๆวัน มันทำให้เราตระหนักว่าการกระทำของเรานั้นมีอิทธิพลต่อผู้อื่นจริงๆ และก็เพราะเช่นนั้น เราจึงสามารถทำให้อิทธิพลนั้นเป็นส่วนที่ช่วยเหลือคนอื่นได้
ในตลอด 365 วันในหนังสือเล่มนี้ มีทั้งเรื่องที่ตลกและน่าทึ่ง แต่ก็มีอีกหลายประเด็นที่จริงจังและตึงเครียด แต่ทั้งหมดก็ล้วนเป็นความรู้ใหม่ได้ทั้งนั้น แม้ว่ามันยังไม่มีในภาษไทยแต่ถ้าอยากรู้เพิ่มเติมง่ายๆ ก็สามารถดูเว็บเขาได้ที่นี่
